🌅 Ignite Spirit Wellness: Lighting up your life starts with healthy habits. Okumura’s “Small Lows, Highs, Steady Heart Rate” running group event is now in its third season. Every morning run is a commitment to yourself: one less time in bed, one more time to run. It not only awakens the body, but also illuminates the soul. The morning brings fresh air and a fresh mood. With the warm-up stretch and the first step🙅, a sense of inner strength and clarity slowly emerges from the body. The meaning of a morning run lies not in how far you run, but in your persistence, walking towards the sun🏃🏃
🔥🌿 Coach Lily, the running group’s leader, is incredibly professional. She consistently uses the “fixed heart rate” running method to help everyone gradually increase their running intensity. When she said, “This is our second training session. Following the workout plan I’ve assigned to you, I hope that after 10 runs over the past three months, each of us can complete a 5km run,” everyone looked at each other in surprise. “Wow, you’re kidding… is that even possible?” But Coach Lily remained confident, saying, “As long as everyone follows my method, you can do it! Of course, persistence is key. Your body is your master. Without it, even the most scientific method won’t work!” 🏃🏃🏃
“Small base, high intensity, fixed heart rate”—a method of gradually increasing the intensity each day. Start with one minute of running, followed by one minute of brisk walking. Then, run two minutes, walk one minute, and then run three minutes, walk one minute…
By the end of September, our goal 💪💪💪 is to run 5km non-stop!
Starting with our second group run, our coach has added new content. Let’s take a look at our “menu” for each group run! 😊
