Let’s run! — Ignite Spirit Wellness Morning Run Group, we’ll be back at 7:30 AM on August 9th!
🌅 Light up your life, start with healthy living habits. Last Saturday (August 2nd), during our third morning run, we once again kicked off a day full of energy!
💪 At 7:30 AM, sunlight streamed through the paths of Okumura onto everyone’s shoulders, and the air was slightly chilly. We first followed Coach Lily through a 5-minute warm-up stretch, stretching every muscle in our bodies, before entering the core part—the “small low and high, steady heart rate” scientific running method.
🌿 Highlights: Persistence is more important than speed: From the initial “run for 1 minute + brisk walk for 1 minute” to the current “run for 3 minutes + brisk walk for 1 minute,” everyone can feel their bodies slowly adapting and getting stronger. Scientific posture brings a light experience: Coach Lily constantly reminded everyone to maintain correct running form along the way, and many people said, “I feel like I can finally run with ease!” A yoga relaxation session was the perfect ending: The yoga stretch after the morning run seemed to open up our entire body, and the day’s energy began here.
👣 After three morning runs, our biggest reward was—our bodies were awakened and our minds were illuminated! Every morning of perseverance is a commitment to ourselves.

On August 9th, we’ll continue our training, working towards our goal of a 5km non-stop run by the end of September! This week’s activities include: 5-minute warm-up and stretching, a scientific running method with “low and high” exercises and correcting your running posture, post-jog yoga stretches and heart rate adjustments, Coach Lily’s thoughtful summary, and next week’s homework. The best running companions are like-minded friends and a professional coach.
The best morning light is the sound of our laughter and footsteps. Put aside your excuses, lace up your running shoes, and let yourself shine in the morning light! Time: Saturday, August 9th, 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
