Registration for the third Ignite Spirit English Living English Training Camp "Get Your Body Moving" on May 18th is now open

——The third session of Ignite Spirit English Practical English Training Camp, the salon activity with the theme of “Garbage Culture” in Canada attracted the attention of many friends. Shelly, the founder of Ignite Spirit English, said: “As a public welfare organization that advocates harmonious coexistence between people, people and society, and people and wealth, we hope to help new and old friends living in Canada better integrate into local life through each specific theme.”

Canada’s garbage classification culture has long become a living habit for everyone. Although the garbage recycling methods in each province are different, the requirements for garbage classification are the same. When receiving the garbage collection calendar every year, there are detailed classification requirements, but many of the English expressions in it always make people confused. This salon activity helps the participating friends learn the vocabulary and sentences related to garbage culture from the shallow to the deep.

This time, the two IR high school teachers in grade 9 were very careful and prepared a handout in Chinese and English for everyone, including the English of key vocabulary, such as: Garbage / Trash / Waste are all garbage, Reduce/lower/Turn down-all mean to reduce, what is the difference, when to use, Landfill, Recycle, Reuse sort, bin, container, what is the difference, what does hazardous mean, and how to classify and dispose of food, plastic, glass, mental, electronics, paper, bettery and other garbage, and explain in detail the items in the green bin, blue bin, black bag and red bin.

After each salon event, the teacher team of Ignite Spirit English will conduct a targeted summary and review, with the aim of making the subsequent theme salons more efficient and allowing the participants to actually master more vocabulary and sentences. For the theme of “garbage culture” this time, the young teachers added more communication links, such as interactive games to warm up everyone to get to know each other, follow-up reading of key vocabulary, questions and answers related to garbage recycling, etc. The 1.5-hour salon was very rewarding. The two teachers also shared with us the extended topics of “climate warming and environmental protection” to expand our thinking and perspective. It must be said that today’s high school students do have a strong sense of social responsibility.

Ignite Spirit English Salon invites more high school students who are willing to exercise their expression, control and leadership to join the “teacher” team!

The next life English topic – Get your body moving. Click on the video below to learn about the topic:

Canada, a country that embraces nature, air, and sunshine, where almost everyone can’t help but get their body moving and enjoy a healthy and natural lifestyle. Maybe you are like me, always busy with affairs, tired of the trivialities of life, or always involuntarily curled up on the sofa, browsing your phone, playing games, or watching American dramas.

In fact, getting your body moving does not necessarily require going to the gym or private lessons. Simple methods can even be obtained at home. The important thing is that we must learn vocabulary, expressions, and sentences related to physical exercise.

Come and sign up to participate in the fourth life English salon – “Get your body moving”!
