Inspire English

English is an essential skill for Chinese immigrants living in Canada. To support this, we plan to offer free English tutoring courses.
Through the guidance of volunteer instructors, students will overcome their struggles with spoken English, confidently handle various everyday situations, and Increase self-onfidence where both volunteer instructors and adult learners improve their English and Chinese together.

Hi everyone! My name is Charles, and I’m a Volunteer Leader for the Inspire English Program at Ignite Spirit.

I came to Canada a little over a year ago as a newcomer, so I truly understand how challenging it can be to learn English in a new environment. That experience motivates me to support and encourage others who are on the same journey.
