Inspire English program hosted by Ignite Spirit Global Culture Association will take place this September. The creation of the program will give the community members of all ages an opportunity to improve English language skills.
Shelly Wu, the founder of Ignite Spirit, has been working on newcomer programs for decades. Last year, she created a 4-level English conversation program—Inspire English, to help newcomers adapt to the Oakville community. The program focuses on language learning and connection building. Its purpose is to support daily communication and create community involvement. Inspire English has four levels: Foundation, Communication, Discussion, and Life Reflection. Community members of all ages and all English levels, especially newcomers, are welcomed to join the program.
“I hope Ignite Spirit will become a safe place for everyone to improve language skill and build connections,” said Shelly. She said the program is designed to provide participants with a supportive environment for language learning and community connection.
Registration will open in early September.
